Each final product includes a standard set of architectural plans, as described below.

A-1.1 Site Plan
A site plan is included on custom plans but not in pre-designed plans.  Included in a site plan are property lines, building setback lines, utility easements, and new structure, sidewalk and driveway locations.

A-2.1 Floor Plan
Included on a typical floor plan is detailed dimensions, room sizes, ceiling heights, floor coverings, door and window sizes and any special notes such as 2x6 walls, special ceiling treatments, plant shelf locations and attic access.

A-2.2 Forming Plan
A forming plan is not a foundation plan.  Clients should contact a local builder, designer or engineer for foundation specifications.  Forming plans typically include dimensions, sloped areas, recessed areas for showers, floor drains, fireplace reinforcing and floor plug and hose bib locations.

A-2.3 Roof Plan
Roof plans include plate heights, roof pitches, crickets and penetrations for chimney and sky-lites.

A-3.1 Exterior Elevations
Exterior elevations are drawn so that they are easily visualized by the addition of shade and shadows.  Typical elevations also include indication of roof types (composition shingles, Spanish tile, standing seam metal), veneer types (brick, stone, siding, stucco) along with roof pitches and plate heights.

A-4.1 Electrical Plan
Electrical Plans include lights, switches, electrical outlets, television, telephone, smoke detectors, gas and doorbell locations.  Electrical fixtures and load calculations are not included.

A-5.1 Typical Details
Includes typical foundation details, cornice details and standard framing details.  All details should be reviewed by a local builder or engineer to assure compliance with local codes and building techniques.
